First place in yesterday’s race!!!! 75km at 38km/h average. A very big group sprint but pulled ahead wit about 300m to go!! Great day…. Hopefully more photos to come.

Middle of May, pissing rain and only 9deg C! Where Is Summer!?!?!? >:(
A good week, Monday 80km climbing, Tuesday 50km short steep climbing (high tempo) Wednesday 150km training, and last night interclub race 36km at 40km/h average. Finished very well!! But today my knee is a bit sore for some reason so going to take it very easy….. Race on Sunday!!!
This is what I’m looking at competing in this weekend!
“Sign on is at the Naomh Eanna GAA Club , Clonattin Road , Gorey 10-11.30 am
The A2 / A3 race is over 4 laps of the Gorey , Craanford , Camolin and back to Gorey circuit ( same course as the 3 day )approx distance 100Kms/ 60miles starting at 12 noon sharp
Prize fund first 6 over the line and 1st rider over the KOH on lap 2 and
1st and 2nd unplaced A3 riders
1st unplaced Vet , Junior , and Lady
followed 10 minutes later with the A4 event
A4 race is over 3 laps of the same route approx 75 Kms/ 45 miles.

Followed by refreshments back in the club and the prize presentation”
